Here are some ideas. Roll and cut out a small hand. Just bend the fingers and they stay. For the Iowa shape I glued a pig sequins
to it. You can poke a pin through it.

Paint a piece of cardboard that is 1" X 1 1/4" black. Cut large craft toothpicks to fit around cardboard for the frame.  Make chalk out of Sculpey modeling compound. Write message with white gel pin. Glue pin on back.

I used a small alphabet block and glued small wooden beads on sides for arms. Glued black pony beads on bottom for legs. The head a round wood bead. Draw the face with markers and glue hair on top. Glue a pin on back.

Roll out Crayola Model Magic to about 1/8" thick. Stamp your design with the rubber stamp of your choice. Cut out with scissors. Air dry overnight. Glue pin on back.

Cut strips of the corrgated cardboard from lightbulbs, and roll to fit in a pop bottle lid. You may add a piece of wick. Light a candle and drip wax on top of cardboard.  Glue pin on.

Cut 1/4" slices from a branch 1 1/2" thick.  Drill a hole for the cord to go through. Write name with marker.

Melt wax by placing a container, glass jar will do, in a skillet of  water over medium heat, to color wax use crayons..  Cut about 6" string and thread through the loop of pin. Tie a washer on both ends of string. Dip in wax to desired size. Hang to cool then cut the washers off.

Cut two different color shapes from fun foam and glue one on top of another. Use glitter pens or fabric paint for the hands and numbers.  Stick an pin on.

Take a piece of wire and put the ends through the holes in the buttons.  Twist the wire to hold.  I used 3 buttons and baby breath and a silk leaf.  Holding all together wrap them with floral tape. Stick a pin on.

Cut  2'' off the end of a tongue depresser.  Paint yellow, load brush with brown and white and add curved lines. Paint a door hole with black.  Take a bee sticker and cover with clear contact.  Take a small piece of wire and wrap around pencil.  Glue one end of wire to back of bee the other to back of  hive.
Take middle tips of a cardboard egg carton and cut off. Fill with dryer lint. Pour melted wax over the lint. Put a pin through when hard.  Use the wax left over from candle making, or can drip wax over it.

Take a wood heart and paint green and white strips. Glue a round wood to the tip of heart for the head. Make face with markers and glue on hair.  For patches and pins I used fabric paint.  Glue pin on back.

Thread two pieces of jute 8" long through the pull. Put a pony bead through both strands on one side and another on the other side.  Taking the middle two strands thread a star on them (one strand from each side). On the two outer strands put G & S letter beads, and tie a knot to hold.

Take a 11/2 X1/2" piece of felt and glue one end over the part of a safety pin that does not open. Make a point at the other end of felt in the middle. Make GS insignia with gold and blue glitter pens.

Need two buttons that are the same and glue a smaller one between them.  Take thin string and wind around the middle button  and glue in place.  Leave about 2" hanging, make a loop at end for the finger. Put a pin through the loop.

I used Scupley modeling compound, flesh, white, teal, orange, black. I used small balls and rolled pieces. Put it together and baked.  When hard I cut sticky felt and attached to back with a pin. Used ink pens to make face. Need more help just ask.

Use seven white buttons the same size and glue six around one to make a circle.  Take a larger yellow and glue to center. Glue pin to back. I had no yellow buttons so I took white ones and colored them with magic markers.
Cut two pieces of material that is oval with a flat bottom across.  Sew them together leaving a hole.  Turn right side out and fill with fiber fill.  Sew hole up.  Glue a button on for head, add seed beads in holes for eyes. Glue on hair and two small buttons for shoes.

Take a pipe cleaner and cut in half.  Twist the two halves together in the middle. Put 6 yellow beads on each stem.  Glue the four ends together.  Make a bow out of raffia. Attach pin to raffia.

Take a wood bead (I used the ones from car seats) and write your message, troop #, name, etc. Place colored pony beads according to age level than the wood bead on a clothes pin with no loop on bottom. You will have to bend the pin.  Tie a piece of ribbon on.

Take material 3" X 2 1/4"  long, fold the 3" ends to center wrong side at both ends.  The strip should be less than 2" X 4". Glue one end to cardboard 1" X 2".  Wrap around cardboard and glue end to fabric. Make two, glue together. Attach a straight pin to front.  Attach pin to back.

Take a small piece of white lightweight cardboard and punch a hole in top center. Glue seed beads to it and write the words Buttons, may add a price.

Make a square knot at the end of a piece of rope. Cut off.

Make a friendship knot out of 2 4" rainbow ribbon, attach verse:
Many beautiful colors and textures woven togher form a Tapestry just as they make up the fabric of our diverse society. Each ribbon, each individual, adds its own special contrast, enhanceing the richness of trhe whole.  Alone, each has its own unigue purpose, but when interwined with others, the strength and beauty are magnified.

Take a 2" chenille stem and glue 2 buttons on the ends.  Wrap the chenille stem around a magic marker to make the loop.

Make a circle the size of the pom pom extending one end to make the bill out of fun foam.  Glue on pompom.
